Supreme Curt Refuses Permission to Appeal in Subway VAT Case

The Supreme Court has refused permission to Sub One Ltd t/a Subway, a Subway franchise, to appeal the Court of Appeal judgment in its VAT case. The judgment therefore stands that its toasted sandwiches and meatballs were standard rated for VAT as catering, not zero rated food.
