Indian Authorities not Appeal Vodaphone Tax Ruling

Indian authorities have announced they will not appeal the Bombay High Court ruling, in 2014, against them in the long-running tax and transfer pricing dispute with Vodaphone. India has been forthright in pursuing tax claims, some retrospective, against big multinationals. The decision not to appeal is seen as a move to reassure investors that tax disputes are handled fairly and within the four corners of the law.
