English Tax Decided by English Votes ?

Election tax promises continue, now with the Conservatives launching an English mini-manifesto promising English votes for English laws, including tax. Despite the protests from nationalist parties in other countries of the UK the logic and basic, democratic fairness is inescapable. It cannot be fair for three countries to have special privileges and decide their own tax, to varying degrees, and pay for that by then voting for higher taxes and/or lower services for England. Fairness goes both ways. The break-up of what used to be a single UK tax system into four separate tax systems for four separate nations looks like the only fair answer.
